Oklahoma teen mother shoots and kills one of two home intruders

I wish this story was out of a crime novel, but sadly it’s a true story. Imagine you’re only 18-years-old. You and your husband have a 3 month old baby together. However on Christmas day, your husband fatally succumbs to cancer.

Then some young man decides he’s going to stalk and make a move on the now widowed pretty young mother. Sadly according to Sarah McKinley of Blanchard, Oklahoma, that’s allegedly what happened to her. That same week, her stalker and another intruder broke into her home, and she killed one of them.

I’ve posted many stories on my blog regarding others having to use lethal force. Often time’s 911 dispatchers have ignorantly told the caller to “put your gun down,” or “don’t shoot him” etcetera. However thankfully this one did not.

Remember not all States laws are as lenient, or as victim friendly as Oklahoma’s. Therefore know the self-defense laws in your State. If this same incident occurred in California as depicted in this video, the district attorney’s office would most likely prosecute Sarah for either manslaughter or murder. In California think of the LAPD acronym I.D.O.L (only in ‘Immediate Defense of Life.’)

Once you know your laws well, and after you’ve had to use lethal force; always invoke the 5^th amendment, and say nothing more to the 911 operator, nor to the police officers that arrive. They cannot force you to talk. Just respectfully say “I will give no further statement, and I’m asking for my attorney.” If you have a digital recorder, record that as well.

Remember I do a lot of these investigations, and I listen to a lot of 911 tapes. Everything that you say to the 911 operator is recorded and may be later used against you in a court of law (both criminally and civilly.)

Today 11:00AM, the intruder Justin Shane Martins funeral will be held at the Cowboy Church in Medicine Park, Oklahoma. I sure would not want to be the Officiant at Shane’s funeral. Martins’ alleged accomplice has been formally charged with first degree murder.

As it’s been said “the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.” But if the mothers armed, she can rule more mightily.

Ben Breedlove Leaves Behind a Video Before his Death

18 year old Ben Breedlove passed away on Christmas day 2011. Last Thursday over 1,500 attended his funeral at Gateway Church in Austin Texas.

According to GodVine, “Ben Breedlove passed away on Christmas day this year of a heart condition, but not before leaving behind this extremely touching and meaningful video. Please watch his final video here on Earth. It is so moving.”

Based on my observations over the years, it is my believe that the majority of the church within America is in willful violation of Romans 1:32. They have “approved” and “condoned” the sins of Romans 1, seemingly in the name of love.

However not a righteous Biblical love, but an adulterated form of love. The church has wrongfully judged the world (the non Christians) for their expected immorally. When they themselves have become much like the world (a fornicating church.) A Biblical judgment must first start with ourselves as individuals, and then within the house of God. There’s still time to repent. More about that here.

A 66 year old Redding women is forced to kill her home intruder

According to the below news source the following recently occurred. 66 year old Donna Hopper from Redding Calif was inside her home when she heard an intruder attempt to break in.

A suspect later identified as 37 year old Jesse Edward Theis, then broke out her bedroom window. Donna did the right thing by calling 911. However the more wiser thing she did, was she retrieved her own firearm for her protection.

She fires off a shot, but the suspect still crawls thru her window and enters her bedroom. Donna is then forced to shoot the suspect, and he succumbs to his wounds.

I want to highlight on a few points.

Point 1: The 911 dispatcher Rhonada Mann told Donna “Don’t” shoot the suspect again.

Never follow a dispatchers order to not protect yourself. Only the victim truly knows the threat level (danger) their faced with.

Point 2: Before the suspect was fatally shot, the dispatcher then tells her “the officers are in the area, I don’t want you to fire your gun.”

Again the dispatcher is telling her to not protect herself. Nonetheless the suspect completes his crawl thru the window, and Donna fires her 38 caliber handgun killing the suspect.

Bear in mind the police did not arrive until after the shooting. You can even hear Donna say afterwards, that she can see the police lights responding down her street.

Time and time again I have heard 911 dispatchers tell residents to either put there guns down, and/or to not retrieve a gun (although respectfully this dispatcher was not as blatant others.)

Some other points to ponder on (although this does not apply to every situation) ~

Remember the citizen (the victim) is the real first responder (the police respond and arrive afterwards)
Calling 911 before retrieving your gun may cost you your life
If you choose to call the police as an intruder breaks in, place your phone on speaker, set it down, and hold your firearm with both hands
I’ve represented clients that were later booked for manslaughter or murder after defending themselves
Be careful what you tell the dispatcher, as it's recorded and your comments which were made under duress, may harm you later
Remember in Calif you can not shoot and/or use deadly to protect your home or your property; but you can in ‘Immediate Defense Of Life.’ (IDOL.)
Once the police arrive, then obey their verbal commands, and never display a firearm to them. As the police may mistake you for the suspect
If you’ve shot the suspect, do NOT give a statement to the police. Respectfully invoke your fifth amendment rights, and say “I want my attorney please” (here’s a great video why)

Tracking your location with your own credit cards RFID Chip

Obviously when you swipe your own credit card thru a stores machine, your location is logged. However your location can also be tracked when not using your credit card (some cards.) Remember Chase Bank is in bed with the government, being that their recipients of those egregious tax paid bail outs.

I worked an investigation where my client (a law firm) needed to know the whereabouts of a TV that had been purchased from a store here in San Bernardino, Calif. After I served a Subpoena Duces Tecum on the corporate office, we were able to learn much more than what this gentleman tells (BTW kudos to this very wise man and his video.)

We were able to track the whereabouts of this TV, henceforth the person(s) that had possession of it. The intent of the RFID chip for ‘some’ is “loss prevention.” However the Government is also monitoring some items as well. Have faith, the Lords on His throne through all this (more of my comments re the New World Order in comments section below.)

I used to get discouraged and frustrated that so many Christians voted for a president that had the most ungodly voting record, than any other candidate in my lifetime. Once Obama got to the Whitehouse, his record only got worse. I expect that from the non churched.

However I am so ever reminded that the Bible tells me that this must come to pass before the rapture, and the Lords return. God warned that in the later days, many will become ignorant, deceived, deluded and will “fall away” from their faith. Therefore I am now enCOURAGED.

I still love them, but I've given up trying to convince these people otherwise (on a one on one basis.) It is better to channel my (our) efforts and energy into what Dr J. Vernon McGee said as, “Edifying the saints and evangelizing to those who ain't.” In other words, building up the body of Christ, and warning and equipping those still willing to listen.

1^st Timothy 4: 1-2 says “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.”

2^nd Thessalonians 2 on the great apostasy. “Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Mother of 15 says "somebody needs to pay for all my children & all my suffering. Somebody needs to be held accountable"

According to the below video/news source(s), Angle Yulee Adams has given birth to at least 15 children. They advised that Adams claims her “life didn’t start to fall apart until social services agencies got involved.” Evidently Adams is struggling to make ends meet. So she says it’s the Governments fault and the tax payers’ responsibility to pay for her children. She adds “Somebody needs to pay for all my children, and all my suffering. Somebody needs to be held accountable, and they need to pay!”.Did she say we should be “held accountable” for her actions?

Adams advised her children are a “gift from God.” It’s true that all children are Gods precious creation. However this is not the way God intended us to bring children into this world..

How to obtain eternity in heaven, and the assurance of salvation

The following will enable you to better understand how to know God; hence how to become a Christian (aka Christ follower.)

First point
The Lord our God loves you so much, and He offers a wonderful plan for your life.

Gods’ love ~ John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” The source of His love was His love. The extent of His love is to the whole ‘world.’ The sacrifice of his love was His only ‘Son’ Jesus the Christ.

This verse is often misunderstood by others, because the Biblical definition of ‘believe’ is different than today’s modern definition. To believe (Biblically), means to commit to, or to cleave to. Remember even the devil believes in God. James 2:19 says “You believe that there is one God, you do well. Even the demons believe– and tremble!” Therefore we must do more than just believe, we must commit our lives to Him (aka disciple of Christ.)

The Lord has a wonderful plan for you ~ Jesus said in John 10:10 “I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly” ‘that it might be full and meaningful.”

So why is it that so many people do not experience the abundant life? Because…

Second Point
All men and women have a sinful nature, and sinful desires; and because of that, we are all separated from God. Therefore, we cannot know and experience God’s love and plan for our lives.

All man is sinful ~ He said in Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Man was created to have fellowship with God; but, because of our own pride and stubborn self-will, man chose to go his own independent way, therefore fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, and attitude of active rebellion, is what the Bible calls sin. He wants us to be dependent upon Him.

All man is separated from God ~ Romans 6:23a says “For the wages (payment) of our sins is death.” Our payment we receive from sin is death; therefore we must repent before it’s too late.

The below third Point explains the only way to bridge the gap between you and the Lord…

Third Point

Jesus Christ is God’s only answer for man’s sin. Only through Jesus Christ can we know and experience God’s love and plan for your life.

Jesus died for our sins ~ Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Jesus has risen from the dead ~ 1^st Corinthians 15:3-6 “Christ died for our sins. He was buried. He was resurrected (rose from the grave) on the third day.

Jesus is the only way to God ~ “Jesus said in John 14:16 “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.” Now the fourth point is very important to all of us…

Fourth Point
We must individually receive Jesus Christ as our Savior and our Lord; it is only then that we will know and experience God’s love and plan for our lives.

We must receive Jesus Christ as Lord ~ John 1:12 says “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.”

We receive Christ through faith ~ Ephesians 2:8-9 says “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.”

When we receive Jesus Christ, we can then only experience a new birth ~ In John 3:3-8 Jesus said “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. “Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit”.

We simply receive Jesus Christ by inviting Him into our heart ~ Jesus even had to remind and warn lukewarm Christians to repent and get right; so we know He is also telling non-Christians this, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him” Revelation 3:20.

The Bible commands us in Acts 3:19 “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.” The word ‘repent’ means to change our mind and our heart away from our sins, and towards God. Instead of running from God, we can run toward Him.

The Bible says in John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”
When we receive Jesus Christ, we then turn to God and turn away from our sins (repentance.) We must trust Jesus Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us the kind of person the He wants us to be. Just to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He died on the cross for our sins is not enough. We must receive Jesus Christ by faith…

Fifth Point
Now once you have become a born-again Christian, there must be some evidence that you are a new person in Jesus Christ.

A New Change ~ 2^nd Cor 5:17 says “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

There Must be Some Fruit (evidence) ~ James 2:20-22 says “But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works (deeds or service) is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made.”

Yes it is true that works, service or good deeds do not save us. Although they are the evidence of our salvation. Are you ready for the next Point..?

You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer (Prayer is simply talking to God and letting Him talk to you.) God knows your heart, and is more concerned with your heart than He is your words. Below is a suggested prayer. Remember you must truly mean it from your heart.

“Oh Lord Jesus, I realize I am a sinner, and that I need You. I know You are the only way to heaven. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. Thank You for rising from the grave. I open my heart to You, and receive You as my Lord & Savior. Thank You for forgiving me of my sins, and giving me eternal life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I may have Your power to sin less. Wash my sins with Your blood. Make me the kind of person You want me to be!”

If you agree that you need this prayer, pray this prayer right now, and Jesus Christ will come into your life, in the form of His Holy Spirit.

Reading the Word of God is important to grow your faith. Hebrews 11:1-3 says “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”

When I first heard an internet rumor that the DHS issued a National Security alert warning that turkey fryers are a threat, I thought “no way!” But then again I had to remind myself that I have received formal DHS training on counter terrorism, which was nonsensical to say the least. They have endorsed, acquiesced and tolerated serious threats to our Nation. All in the name of political correctness.

For years our tradition at thanksgiving was to fry turkeys as we camped out in the wilderness. Our ground was uneven and rocky too.

Respectfully said, there is a place and purpose for a government, and a place they should not be. Nonetheless I don’t need to be told how to cook my own turkey. Because “it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.” Psalm 118:8

LAPD reunion & my walk down memory lane

Yesterday (11-11-11) I attended an LAPD reunion. Great seeing some old partners, as well as at least three generations of other colleagues.

As I was leaving I saw one cop arrive that I worked with back in the 1980’s. Back then he was an “old timer” who began his LAPD career in the 1950’s. I remember him telling me back then “kid, we didn’t have radios.” He’s now in his 80’s. He still has his ‘call box’ key (photo of a call box below.)

However it looks like things aren’t getting any better for the rank and file. Another officer I spoke with (a former partner) has had the wind taken out of his sails.

He was uniquely gifted in capturing the hardest of hard core criminals. Together we put a lot of bad guys in jail; hence I learned a lot from him. He’s the type of cop that you want on your street as your family sleeps at night. Sadly, some in management do not like those kinds of proactive cops anymore.

This officer had the guts to report the misconduct of a supervisor. Without exaggeration, he advised a former command staff level officer and a few of his cohorts retaliated against him. He advised they did the following to him (including but not limited to)

Planted evidence on him
Implicated him in a bogus rape case
Placed him on a DHS terrorist watch list

The jurors awarded him with a verdict of $4,000,000.00. This officer has since been offered a movie deal by a motion picture producer; but he turned it down as he didn’t want to place the rest of the department under a bad light.

As I shared long ago at a speaking engagement, “the criminals, they don’t play by the rules; but police officers are shackled by laws and treated like fools.” Treated like fools from within. That is another reason why the good citizens need to arm themselves.

While in Los Angeles, I decided to take a trip down memory lane visiting some old hot spots and crime scenes. One scene is were I had intervened with, and shot a would-be assassin.

Lastly I visited the LAPD museum. I regret not having a wide lens with me. What stood out the most was the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA) rooms and displays. I’ve had the privilege of knowing an officer that was involved in the notorious SLA shoot out.

The reasons why the SLA portion stood out so much to me, is that America is now full of people with the same left wing socialist ideologies. We’re not too far from the eruption of another SLA shootout. However this one would not be an isolated incident committed to Los Angeles, it may be more of a National event.

I am not a supporter of gun law restrictions. Except for one Calif law that I do support; is that to be able to purchase a handgun, you have to take a Calif State DOJ handgun safety exam. I applied two police incidents that I experienced that were applicable and relevant to this short chapter.

One was an undercover vice assignment on the Sunset Strip. The other a fatal motorcycle accident in Riverside.

Update 10-18-11: On today's date (13 years later,) I went back to the Riverside location where that 1998 aforementioned fatal motorcycle accident occurred. My intent was to film extracting the teeth from the pole for another video message.

As I was examining the pole I noted the following. The pole was fairly new bearing SCE pole number J39731. It was made and treated in August 2007 by ‘Nevada Wood Preserving.’

The owner of the 76 gas station “Larry” approached me to inquire what I was doing. Larry advised he’s owned this station for “ten years,” and that he heard about the fatal accident just before he bought the station. However he did not know that the decedents’ teeth had been left in that pole. He advised that pole had been replaced a “few years ago” with the current one. He advised the other pole had been replaced after a vehicle collided into it.

Larry further advised there has been numerous accidents at Wong Way and Palm St. He advised one motorcycle rider was catapulted so fast, that his body “flew underneath” his chain link fence.

I had also noted that the name of this street had been changed from Wong Way to Wong Street. Further investigation revealed the name had been changed in June of 2009. This street was named after the late George Wong from Riversides original China Town community. However in 2009 City Councilman Mike Gardner said "the sign was disparaging to Chinese immigrants with limited English skills.”

If there ever was an appropriate hate speech it is “I hate cancer.” Two years ago my wonderful wife began her fight with cancer. Then this year I was diagnosed as “most likely malignant” (although mine, a less serious form of cancer than my wife’s.) However after surgery, my cancer was miraculously gone. But my wife, she had to endure so much pain. We both knew God was cultivating us.

Then there are stories like Zac Smith and his family. In video #1 Zac gives his testimony and potential death declaration. Since then, Zac most recently passed away. In video #2 his wife speaks on his behalf.

Looks like God’s Holy Spirit drew in a big crowd, shining His light upon the darkened city of fallen angels. To promote and host an event like this costs millions and millions of dollars. But you can’t put a price tag on our souls; moreover what Christ did for us on ‘that cross.’

I just hope that many of those “5,931 decisions” for Christ were true born-again experiences and not just emotions. The Lord only knows and in time their fruits will tell. I didn’t attend this Harvest Crusade, but I heard the testimony of that WWII veteran Louis Zamperini on the radio. What a great guy he is (I interviewed a WWII Vet, that testimony can be read here.)

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Florida couple wins ‘wrongful birth’ law suit. Because had they known, they would have killed their son

You heard me right, not a wrongful death law suit, but wrongful birth. According to the ‘Palm Beach Post’ West Palm Beach Florida couple Ana Mejia and Rodolfo Santana have won 4.5 million dollars in “wrongful birth” law suit (although they asked for much more.)

They advised that the medical staff should have known that her son Bryan would soon be born with no arms and one leg. Horrifically the parents stated “they would have never have brought Bryan into the world” had they know he had the disability. In other words that’s a nice way of saying they would have killed Bryon.

Can you imagine how Bryon would feel when he one day Google’s his name to learn that his parents would rather have killed him? Lord have mercy on his parents and grace on this little guy.

According The Blaze, defense attorney Mark Rosen said that “the couple had refused an amniocentesis, which may have helped to predict Bryan’s problems before his birth.” I sure hope Attorney Mark Rosen wins his appeal on behalf of the defendant(s.)

God said “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9

Prayerfully Bryon (and his parents) will learn that thru God (and not money) he can be victorious and not a victim. That thru God he will see triumph through tragedy. Pat Robertson, a well known TV evangelist and former presidential candidate recently publicly declared that if their spouse has Alzheimer’s disease, that they then can divorce their spouse.

Robertson gave this response to a woman after she asked for “moral” advice. Specifically whether or not if it was moral to “date” another person while their own spouse had Alzheimer’s disease.

Robertson sadly responded advising that they could “divorce” their now ill fated spouse, and move on with their life.

Robertson’s advice was not only UnBiblical. The Bible teaches the contrary. Dating another while your spouse is sick - IS adultery. But then again according to President Bill Clinton, “it depends on what your definition of is - is.” According to the Holy Scriptures, divorcing your spouse under these circumstances is also adultery.

I understand that when a pastor is asked sensitive questions like the aforementioned, that he should respond to those with a reply that will comfort and love them. However Pat Robertson’s response is a false adulterated form of love. The pastor must tell the TRUTH in love, because LOVE without the truth is meaningless.

In the ministry, I’ve had the great privilege of officiating many weddings. However prior to agreeing to do so, I consult with those couples asking them a few personal questions about themselves. If they do not fit a Biblical criterion, I regretfully tell them that I can not marry them. I’ve only married one couple that I doubted then if I should, but I shed grace on that couple. Having said that…

Years ago while listening to a well known Christian radio program called “A pastors perspective” (formally known then as “To every man an answer,”) three times in one month I heard pastors tell their listeners that they could divorce for “emotional abuse,” or if their spouse treated them badly. That is so vague and ambiguous.

You can not give Biblical marital advice over the phone on the air with only one spouse’s account. Especially while thousands of others that are listening to that radio program. That pastor just acquiesced, condoned, tolerated and justified every radio listener that may ‘thinking about divorce’ to go forth with their UnBiblical divorce.

Moreover Jesus said in mark 9: 42 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.”

I called Pat Robertson’s 700 Club ‘public relations’ department. After being forwarded by some, I was then not able to reach an actual person. However I left a detailed message on their voicemail. In part I said “I’ve already forgiven Mr. Robertson, but I will not shed grace until he repents and publicly retracts his comments.” I then asked Mr. Robertson to consider that millstone now tied around his neck.

I (we) don’t need to defend God, for He is the most powerful in the universe. But I will defend His Word. If you would like a Biblically sound article that I wrote on marriage, divorce and remarriage contact my office and I’ll send it to you. But please don’t make your request anonymous.

How dare we call sexual sin or alcohol abuse just an “addiction,” or a “disease,” while now calling Alzheimer’s a sin!

Being a burglar is a dangerous job. If you choose to enter another mans home without permission you deserve the consequences. Those consequences can be jail, prison or even hell. You may only end up wearing a pair of stainless steel bracelets, or you may end up bagged and tagged.

Had this incident occurred in California, sadly the gun grabbing cops would be arresting the 15 year olds parents for failure to lock and secure a firearm from their children. I’ve worked these types of cases. One to hire a forensic locksmith to prove the gun safe was faulty. Henceforth no criminal negligence.

Police officer catches minister engaging in sex with minor in his vehicle

According to the Daily Bulletin, 54 year old Mark William Michaels plead guilty today, to lewd and lascivious acts upon a child. The article advised Michaels was on staff at the Bethany Baptist Church located in Montclair California.

Court records reveal multiple counts were filed, however he was offered a plea deal. I’ve worked these types of cases both as a police officer and now as a criminal defense investigator. As I stated in my article “Another look at the justice system,” many of these allegations were later proven to be false and fabricated by the alleged victim(s.)

However this case had a most unusual independent witness. A Montclair police officer observed Michaels vehicle parked in an alley. Upon further investigation, the officer caught Michaels engaging in sexual conduct with a 15 year old girl from his church choir.

I only posted this article because of a comment that Michaels made in a report. According to the Daily Bulletin “Michaels told the officer he suffers from sexual addiction, which "blurred the lines from right and wrong and kept the affair going."

This doesn’t sound like repentance to me. It sounds like blame shifting. Rather than confess and confront the sin, let’s blame it on an “addiction.” In other words the addition blurred the lines; henceforth he couldn’t know what was right from wrong.

As I mentioned in a sermon/message that I gave at a church outreach (audio here,) the first recorded case of “blame shifting” was Adam in the garden.

When Michaels gets out of prison and begins his therapy at the mentioned “sexual rehabilitation clinic.” I suggest my “three step program” which is mentioned at the end of my above message. I also referred to those steps as the “Three R's.” Because if he does not, the recidivism rate is around 90%.

It is my prayer that this church will be fully healed and restored. According to the churches web site, they are under new leadership.

Angela Hildenbrand - the Church needs more men like her

Decades ago many male chauvinists referred to women as “couch potatoes” or “soap opera queens.” Fact is these ignorant men failed to realize that their own wives had a more difficult and more noble job than themselves.

Yes it’s true that most women better managed their homes. Moreover they raised their children better than most men could (although the father must not be absent.) Oh have those roles reversed (in most homes.) More and more men are becoming meterosexuals.

Today I believe because of greed, that most families are now a ‘two income household.’ But now who are the REAL couch potatoes? It’s the MAJORITY of the men.

If these men are not sitting in front of what they previously called the “boob-tube,” they're hypocritically wasting time with things that don’t matter…like at the ball game. Or they're still out “trying to hit a little white ball into a hole in the dirt.” BTW here is a real hero!!!

Having said that, the fact is that the majority of the men truly are the couch potatoes (or sports-god worshipers.)

Los Angeles Sheriffs Dept under DOJ/FBI investigation for discriminating against Section 8 federal housing residents

This Nation is bankrupt with a 13 TRILLION dollar deficit. The government continues to increase in size, while the people decrease. Bear in mind that America faces a current imminent threat of another terrorist attack. Additionally we’re at the brink of another world war.

As our Nation is in this crisis, what is our DOJ / FBI tax dollars spent on?

Into a federal civil rights probe where allegedly the Los Angeles Sherriff’s Department, the Cities of Lancaster and Palmdale are discriminating against residents that live in Section 8-Federal HUD housing units.

Those “compliance checks” mentioned in the below news article are necessary to make sure that the welfare recipients of these homes are in compliance with Federal mandates.

I have investigated many of these residents within these homes. It’s mostly a scam whereas they take advantage of the taxpayers. It’s nothing but socialized residency (socialism.)

I have seen the following occur within these units (including but not limited to)

Welfare fraud
Women out of wedlock having babies after babies after babies
Men who are unemployed only because of their lazy choice
Residents selling drugs out of their homes and nearby
Criminal conspiracies
Unreported cohabitation with others gainfully employed
Gang activity
New and/or luxury cars parked in their parking lots
$100+ tennis shoes (mine were on sale for $39.00)
Rolex watches
24 carat gold jewelry
iPhones, iPods and computers
Cable TV
Illegal alien residents
More and more tattoos
Bottled water service
Businesses operating out of them that are not reported to the IRS. One I counted $17,000.00 cash in a laundry basket
And the list goes on and on.

Therefore the only discrimination I’ve seen, is the federal government discriminating against the tax paying working class people that are forced to pay for the aforementioned scam artists.

If Sheriff Lee Baca had any courage as did Sheriff Richard Mack, Baca would invoke the 10th amendment of the U.S. Constitution and tell the Feds to stay out of dodge.

The solution to this problem is to stop ALL funding to all these locations, and yes including the white people. The government needs to quit enslaving and enabling others into reliance rather than success.

San Diego police officer arrested for capping a blackjack game at casino

According to San Diego’s channel 10 news, on June 3rd, 2011 off duty Chula Vista police officer Jesus Angel Salazar was arrested for allegedly cheating in a game of blackjack at the Sycuan Casino located in Southern California.

He allegedly did what’s known in the vice/gambling world as ‘capping’ or surreptitiously adding losing chip(s) to a bet that was already won.

California Penal Code 337(e) states “It is unlawful for any person to commit any of the following acts: To place or increase a wager after acquiring knowledge of the outcome of the gambling game or other event which is the subject of the wager, including past-posting and pressing wagers.”

Ironically this is not the officers’ first run-in with the law at this same casino. According to 10news.com, he was recently arrested for DUI while leaving the casino.

Other than throwing a few quarters into a slot machine while at a conference in Las Vegas, I never gambled. But I’d be a liar to say I never drove while intoxicated. The difference between myself and officer Salazar is he got caught. Alcohol is a big part of most police officers lives. The question is, will we learn and grow from our mistakes?

God’s grace is an awesome thing to receive. As Dwight L. Moody said “Grace isn't a little prayer you chant before receiving a meal. It's a way to live. The law tells me how crooked I am. Grace comes along and straightens me out.”

Predictive Policing - Sending the Police Before There’s a Crime

Technology offers many benefits, but it also comes with many shortfalls. One of those shorts falls is that it prevents, or replaces a police officers ability to acquire unique intuitive, creative policing skills. Those skills can only be acquired through training, experience and practical knowledge.

Computer software programs rob or prevent the human mind of that opportunity. Consequently many modern day police officers just don’t have it. The old time cops that later utilized technology are well balanced. However few of the young rookies that were hired after these technological advancements began, never acquired those beat cop skills.

Therefore as I’ve said in my Missing Persons article, technology should only be an optional tool, and should never replace good old fashioned gumshoe police work. The below ‘predictive policing’ program has been utilized for decades, even before computers. Whereas old time cops did their own crime trends analysis by studying pin maps and their perspective pin head colors. They then formulated a plan, and made on sight in progress crime observation arrests.

The program is part of an unusual experiment by the Santa Cruz Police Department in predictive policing — deploying officers in places where crimes are likely to occur in the future.

Last week 26 year old officer Jeremy Henwood was executed as he sat parked in his patrol car at an intersection. At this very moment his funeral is in procession.

Ironically Jeremy Henwood is a Captain in the Marine reserves. Just five months ago he returned to America after yet another tour of combat in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Sadly he’s not the only police officer that fought in the war, but was later to be killed at home.

When you shoot a cop, your either willingly going to go with the police in the back seat of a police car, an ambulance or a Coroners van. It’s the suspects’ choice.

Below you will hear the dispatcher asking the officers on scene if the suspect had been arrested yet. The helicopter pilot responds “there has been shots fired, so he’s being detained. At least by paramedics.”

The shooter, 23 year old Dejon Marquee White chose the hard way. He went via the Coroners van.

We must give credit to the citizens that called in the information which led the officers to the suspect.

Hebrews 9:27 says “It is appointed unto men to die once, and after this the judgment.” As I’ve said before “You may have put your shoes on in the morning, but a mortician may remove them at night. Are you ready to meet your Maker?” More about salvation and eternity here.

I am eagerly waiting to see what Gods response will be to today’s prayers. However I do not believe that God will answer these prayers in the affirmative, unless this Nation first repents. That starts one person at a time, then one church at a time.

I write this as a Christian, knowing that most of my readers are not Christian. Having said that, the Christians should not blame the non-Christians in this world for the State of our Nation. The Christians must first judge themselves (and yes that starts with myself.) You see the non Christian world system is doing what is expected of them, but what about the body of Christ (the church?)

The Apostle Paul foretold the church in 1st Corinthians 5:12-13 that the non-Christian world system is not specifically to be judged by the church. Moreover that the church is too judge itself. “For what have I to do with judging outsiders? (non-Christians.) Do you not judge those who are within the church? (the Christians.) But those who are outside, God judges. Remove the wicked man from among yourselves!”

Therefore the church must allow itself to be cleansed from within.

America needs a revival. The Rev. Charles Grandison Finney (the father of American Revivalism) said it this way. “If there is a decay of conscience, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the public press lacks moral discernment, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the church is degenerate and worldly, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the world loses its interest in Christianity, the pulpit is responsible for it. If Satan rules in our halls of legislation, the pulpit is responsible for it. If our politics become so corrupt that the very foundations of our government are ready to fall away, the pulpit is responsible for it."

Pastor Paul Washer is so right on. Please skip a TV show or a ball game and watch this video in its entirety. He’s correct about pastors that only tell “half truths,” and Christians that thought they were saved solely because they once repeated a quick sinner’s prayer (although some of them are.) I am not opposed to alter calls, but I am precautious of those that walk up getting caught up in the emotions.

He’s correct re the Christians that twist verses on ‘judging,’ to suit their own compromised life styles.

I like his phrase on “the doctrine of the radical depravity” and those that are “inoculated from the truth,” just because they once did a sinners prayer. He also speaks on the ‘doctrine of justification’ vs. the ‘doctrine of regeneration.’ Too many take salvation for granted; hence acquiescing to apathy within the church (all in the name of love.)

He closed foreknowing that many will accuse him of lacking love. As he said re the biblical text, “Jesus is not sitting in a effeminate dress on a rock holding children and telling people this story. Jesus is talking about eternal salvation and damnation. How do you want me to talk about it?” We must reject pastors that encourage their congregations to continue sin "under grace," rather than encourage holiness and growth.

Forgive the brief part in this movie trailer where the Lords name is used in vein (to me that’s a felony,) but this old secular movie is so applicable to today’s currents events. Yelling out the window may make you feel better, but it won't accomplish anything. Not all anger is bad. Therefore we need to channel our righteous indignation into the right direction.

What this Nation really needs is a God driven Holy Spirit revival.

We must reject the post-modern contemporary, purpose driven, seeker friendly churches. We need fewer pastors and more preachers. We need preachers that will water down the congregation ‘with the Word,’ and not water ‘down the Word.’ We need more ‘black robe regiment preachers.’

Whether this Nation soon experiences Gods judgment or a healing revival, by all means draw closer to the Lord (my sermon here.)

Mans Conviction for Death Threats to Barack Hussein Obama Overturned

Back in October of 2008, Walter Bagdasarian of San Diego posted some emails sharing his dislike for the then presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama.

These emails were obviously inappropriate, as they referred to the now president Obama as a “nigger.” He also made comments like (including but not limited to) “fk the niggar, he will have a 50 cal in the head soon," and "shoot the nig……the country fkd for another 4 years+, what nig has done ANYTHING right????”

The Secret Service then executed a federal search warrant on Bagdasarian’s home, where they removed some guns. Bagdasarian admitted that he regretfully posted those comments, advising that he was drunk when he posted them. Nevertheless Bagdasarian was arrested, indicted by a federal Grand Jury, and then to be prosecuted in the United States Federal Court.

In 2009 Bagdasarian chose to waive his constitutional rights to be tried by a jury of his peers, preferring a judge’s trail instead. When this occurs a normal trial proceeds, however there is no jury. Therefore the judge becomes the judge and the jury. District Judge Marilyn L. Huff found Bagdasarian guilty of two counts.

However last week the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals three judge panel overturned his guilty verdict. Their 2-1 vote/ruling admitted that Bagdasarian’s comments were "repugnant," but they did not fit the legal criteria for a "true threat.”

In the below appellate courts decision, Chief Circuit Judge Stephen Reinhardt wrote for the majority. He stated “The evidence is not sufficient to support a conclusion that a reasonable person who read the postings within or without the relevant context, would have understood either to mean that Bagdasarian threatened to injure or kill the presidential candidate."

While I do not support Bagdasarian’s comments (the Appellant,) I do support the courts decision to overturn his guilty verdict (regardless of which political candidate or president it is.)

This decision is a victory in accordance with the first amendment of our U.S. Constitution. Our Nation, the people, and our government has become too hyper sensitive and too easily offended by words.

I’ve heard the phrase of “free speech” ignorantly used my many. There’s nothing ‘free’ about our speech. Our ‘freedoms to speak’ was fought for and bought by the blood of patriots. Let not their deaths be in vein.

Frankly I'm not a fan of Obama either. We need to pray him out of office. “Without wise leadership, a nation falls; with many counselors, there is safety.” Proverbs 11:14

According to the below news source, Jim Gorge is a police officer in the Idaho County Sheriffs Department. He was off duty at his home. Shortly after 6:00PM he heard a knock at his front door. Jim answered the knock, Jim was then shot.

However Jim had the tactical presence of mind to be armed and to fight back, shooting Douglas G. Wood multiple times.

This is the way tactical police officers must live 24/7. However we no longer live in the ‘leave it to beaver,’ ‘fathers knows best’ days. Therefore all decent citizens need to be armed, and need to reconsider how they open their doors.

Introduction
This testimony is to share with you how the Lord has shaped and molded me (and there’s still more work to be done.) He has sustained me through four officer involved shootings, as well as other tragedies in my life; from the Hollenbeck Division riots, to the Los Angeles riots. May the Lord Jesus receive all the praise and glory, for the protection of our Nation, and its communities; through its metropolitan police officers.

A shooting, is a terrible event to have to experience; the police officer who is forced to shoot another suffers tremendously; physiologically, emotionally, mentally, physically and even spiritually.

It was November 14th, 1991. I was on duty (working a two year under cover assignment) in the city of Los Angeles (LAPD) when I noticed a group of five gang members acting suspiciously in a church parking lot. It was noontime and many people were outdoors. Within the next few seconds I found myself in a gun battle for my life.

My past
Unfortunately years prior to that aforementioned shooting, I was not a Christian. As a matter of fact, I was a self-rightness police officer. Pardon my 'police jargon', but after all... I wasn't the 'dirt Bag' sitting in the back seat of my patrol car. The pride and self-righteousness that comes along with the badge and the gun failed me to forget; that I too had had been arrested in 1978, and sat in the back seat of a patrol car. I too was arrested and booked into San Bernardino County jail (a traffic warrant.)

But later after I became a born-again Christian I realized that I too was also a dirt bag, a spiritual dirt bag. In God's mind; I was a felon, a convict, a sinner who refused to repent, a 'spiritual criminal' in the eyes of the Lord. Why? Because I had not repented from my sins, nor confessed them to the Lord Jesus Christ (1st John 1:9.)

While yet I was still a sinner, Jesus Christ died for me, He died for you to. Jesus loved me so, but I still didn't want Him. You see in the eyes of the Lord I was guilty! As I sat in the front seat of my patrol car, I had the same in common with the bad guy in the back seat. I too needed a Savior. Because of my own sins, I deserved death, judgment and worse than jail... I deserved hell.

As a child, I was raised in a good home. As a family I was raised in a religion, and we went to that church regularly. However, my belief in God was limited to the basic fact of His existence.

In 1986, my wife separated and eventually she divorced me. This brought me to the realization that I was not the man I should be.

Suicidal tendencies
I was distraught and desperate over this unwanted divorce. I had listened to the devil, and he convinced me that it just wasn't worth living anymore. I began taking unreasonable risks hoping to be 'Killed in the Line of Duty.' That did not happen, so I planned my own suicide. Although I was so full of despair, that committing suicide would have not been good enough (so I thought.)

At that time I was a Los Angeles police officer. I actually planned (in my mind) how I would commit a controversial suicide while on duty as an LAPD cop.

You ask "why would I share this over the www?" Because if my confession saved just one life from the selfish act of suicide; then being embarrassed was well worth it. One year within the LAPD, we lost 12 officers to suicide. Most of them shot themselves (aka eating their own gun.)

Friend takes me to a Christian church
About that same time I had planned this terrible event (1986,) a friend invited me to attend a Church. I accepted that invitation, after all I was desperate. This nondenominational Christian church was a Bible teaching church. I had heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the very first time. The Word of God was taught in a way that I was finally able to understand it. That night, I asked Jesus Christ to come into my life. Jesus took away those suicidal thoughts. I now had a reason to live.

Although I continued to go to church, I then later continued doing a lot of things that I had done before accepting the Lord. I wanted to be able to say I was a Christian, but at the same time I was unwilling to give up my sin. I still wanted to party, get drunk, fornicate, and do whatever seemed fun at the time.

After a violent confrontation with an armed carjacker - wielding a shotgun, my leg was broken and I suffered serious injuries. Later due to the atrophy in my leg, and the vain desire to ‘look better’ for woman; I even succumbed to a 3 month cycle of steroid use (1989 LAPD South East Div.) In other words, the word repentance wasn't yet a regular part of my vocabulary.“

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12: 1-2

I became a hypocritical backslidden Christian
I did exactly what Jesus warned about in Mark chapter 4. In that passage (the parable of the sower) Jesus said that some people would receive the word of God, and begin to follow the Lord. But because they were not grounded on the solid rock of Jesus Christ, they would soon fall away.

Jesus warned about receiving the word incorrectly. He said, "And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no crop" (Mark 4:7). In verses 18 and 19 Jesus said, "Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful."

I dated several women, hoping to find a helpmate-someone who would be a suitable companion for me. My relationships were very shallow and temporary. When things began to go wrong, I would flee from the relationship. If I didn't flee, then they would flee.

I couldn't blame the devil for my sins, because I chose to sin. The devil tempted me and my friends influenced me, but I still made those wrong choices myself. The Bible says, "The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in the Lord Jesus Christ" Romans 6:23. I knew the payment (wages) for my sin was soon to be-death.

Due to my compromising and hypocritical lifestyle, I soon fell right back from where I had come-the world.

New LAPD assignment
In time, I changed assignments at the Los Angeles Police Department and became an undercover Vice investigator. I worked every kind of vice you could imagine. While working vice, I was actually being paid to drink on duty.

I remember one day, as April 15th was approaching, I was preparing my taxes (back when interest was tax deductible.). As I viewed my VISA credit card accounts, I was struck with the realization that there was nothing to write off. It was all alcohol related! What a waste of time and money!

After about five years of being in a 'backslidden' state, I began to feel the Lord tugging at my heart. Thank God the Holy Spirit convicted me of my sins! Sometimes, after committing sins, I would cry from the guilt. It wasn't even fun anymore. The Lord showed me what I looked like inside, and I didn't like what I saw.

I didn't have strength to repent, but the Lord by His grace, gave me the strength I needed. I'm ever so mindful of the words of Christ when He said, "Without Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5). Paul echoed those words in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

The 1991 Church shootout
I have had many near death experiences, and have had to make the terrible decision of using deadly force (shootings) too many times. But none would get my attention like the one in this Church parking lot.

When I confronted the gang members, I was immediately met with a hail of gunfire. This officer involved shooting was spiritually significant. The following will better explain why (including but not limited to.)

• It wasn't the kind of shooting that lasts two or three seconds and then it's over. This shooting lasted a long time. Too long of a time, but long enough for me to see the big picture.

• This gun battle included laying down suppression fire in a defensive manner; offensive shooting on the move; walking and running, and skip shooting underneath cars.

• This shooting was in a church parking lot. Tell me God doesn't have a divine way of bringing back slidden Christians (or non-believers) to repentance/church.

• There were multiple suspects. All five suspects looked alike, and it was difficult to discern my primarily assailant from the others involved.

• The F.B.I. statistics say that officer involved shootings last anywhere from one half of a second (0.5) to one and a half seconds (1.5.) This one was a major running gun battle/shootout.
• Regarding weapons, the worst two sounds you would here is; ‘A bang when you’re expecting a click’ (accidental discharge,) or a ‘click when you’re expecting a bang.’ I experienced the click. All the while the suspects’ rounds were being fired at me, I was out of rounds, and I had to reload another magazine into my pistol. It was like a monster in a movie that wouldn't go away.
• There were many vehicles in this church parking lot, because a church service was still in progress. This multi-story brick church was shot up, and there were bullet holes in many cars. One vehicle was entirely shot up, through and through.
• There was a time when the suspect was as close as 6 feet from me, while he was still shooting at me. Only because of the grace of God, was I not struck with any bullets.

• Glass fragments in my eyes from the vehicles were distorting my view.

• The last I saw my partner, was when he went down on the right front of our vehicle. I thought he was dead. Later after this shooting, I found him (my partner) kneeling down in a fetal position. He had a gun in one hand, and a radio in the other. He had used neither the gun, nor the radio... no not once. At first I was extremely angry with my partner. But now I see that the Lord 'allowed' him to freeze under fire, so that I would be forced to TRUST IN THE LORD, and not my partner (Proverbs 3:5-6.)

• Later during this shootout, I finally utilized the front sights of my handgun. As I aimed the front sight (which is vertical) on the enemy, while aligning it with the rear site (which is horizontal,) I saw the figure/ form of a cross. This was the Lord reminding me of my own sins while I was fighting for my life. He died for my sins, and I was about to die as well. During this time my front sights were trained on my enemy, but my mind began to focus on the Lord Jesus. I called out to the Lord-asking Him to help me. After firing several more shots, I fatally wounded the primary assailant.
I thought it was the police officers 'acquired skill' known as the "sixth sense" which took us into this church parking lot. Below explains what that sixth sense was.

As the deceased lie on the ground, I noticed a pool of blood. Within a few minutes his own blood had surrounded him. What immediately came to my mind was the precious blood of Jesus. I began to mourn over the sins I had committed during my back-slidden period. I became convicted because of my relationship with Jesus. I was in willful disobedience against Him. I realized that every time I sinned, I was stabbing Jesus in the back. It's one thing to sin, but after having claimed to have a relationship with Him, it was terrible. What are you going to do with Jesus that’s called the Christ?

LAPD had begun the paper process to award me with their prestigious ‘Metal of Valor’ award. However I refused to attribute my survival to LAPD training. I can't pat myself on the back for my tactics or training. It wasn't me who did well. It was the grace of God that saved me. I should have been dead, but the Lord was shielding me with His armor.

The Primary Suspects Past (the deceadant)
Later I learned that these gang bangers were planning on killing members of a rival gang who had recently accepted the Lord, and were inside the church attending a new believers discipleship class. It's awesome to see how the Lord provides protection for His children. Only God knows what innocent blood might have been shed in the church if it weren't for that so-called 'sixth sense' we police officers have. I now know that this 'sixth sense' is God's Holy Spirit speaking to our conscience, and directing our steps and actions.

The officer involved shooting team also told me they discovered that the suspect was wanted for a murder which took place Halloween night (two weeks prior). He killed a little boy for his candy.

He had also robbed an off-duty LAPD Sergeant one-year prior. He stabbed the Sergeant in the back while the Sergeant was withdrawing money from an ATM machine in L.A. The Sergeant, critically wounded, then drew his concealed off-duty weapon and shot the suspect in the chest. The suspect was soon to be freed by the judicial system.

The average handgun round travels at a speed of fifteen hundred feet per second. It is evident that my name was not written on any of those bullets that night. As I look back at that event in my life, I realize that the Lord had a plan for me that day-to live! It was a Divine intervention.

This was God's wake up call for me. Shortly after this incident I repented and recommitted my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. I can now say with assurance that my name is written in the Lambs Book of Life.

I still sin, and I still fall short of the glory of God. The Bible says, "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us" (1 John 1:8). The only difference now is that I'm a blood-washed sinner. I am forgiven. The very next verse in that passage says, "If we confess our sins, He [God] is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." I have come to know a God of love and forgiveness through the person of Jesus Christ.

Once a man or woman becomes a born again Christian, the Lord takes residence in their heart, and then begins to change them.

The first thing the Lord changed in me was my X-rated mouth. He then cleaned up my R-rated mouth. The Bible says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17). As a born again Christian we receive a new birth, a newness of ourselves.

My desire now is to stay close to the Lord Jesus, obey His Word, stay in fellowship with other believers, and share my faith. I want to encourage those reading this to attend a Bible-teaching church weekly, and to stand tall for the Lord. Remember daily to put on the "whole armor of God" (Ephesians 6:13), just as a police officer or soldier does with their uniform and related equipment. As the saying goes, "Don't leave home without it."

As many of you know, it is difficult to find committed believers in the work place. The mind thought of many is ~ "It's just not cool to be a Christian." As I was growing in my faith, I often felt like an alien among my own brothers and sisters in law enforcement. At times it was difficult, but God was able to help me remain steadfast in my walk with Him. He'll help you too. I encourage you to stay in church, stay in fellowship, stay in God's word, and NEVER GIVE UP on your faith in Jesus.

Justice has not yet been served on behalf of the now deceased Caylee Anthony. The jurors in the Casey Anthony trial just rendered their verdicts as follows ~

Count 1 Murder in the 1st degree: Not guilty.

Count 2 Aggravated child abuse: Not guilty.
Count 3 Aggravated manslaughter: Not guilty.
Count 4 lying to law enforcement: Guilty
Count 5 lying to law enforcement: Guilty.
Count 6 lying to law enforcement: Guilty.
Count 7 lying to law enforcement: Guilty.

HOWEVER this verdict does not mean that Casey did not kill her daughter. She was NEVER found to be factually innocent.

Casey may very well be the most prolific and pathological lying criminal this Nation has ever seen in a jury trial. Even her unethical defense attorney Jose Baez made inferences to Casey as a “lying no good slut."

As a National Board Certified Criminal Defense Investigator, I believe in the Blackstonian view, “it is better to let nine guilty men free, than to allow one innocent man to suffer.” Therefore we must respect the constitutionality of his verdict. Even if my own client(s) admitted to me that they were guilty, but still wanted a fair trial. I will work diligently hard for them. One of my many tasks is to ethically locate and expose reasonable doubt, and share that with the attorney. But once the attorney misleads me, or asks me to do anything unethical, he will lose a fighter, and will have to settle for just an investigator.

Having said that, I am appalled with Casey's defense attorney Jose Baez. Casey didn't win because of a good defense attorney. She won in spite of Baez.

First, Jose Baez’ nefarious smoke screens and accusations in his opening statements alleging that Casey’s father George Anthony, and her brother Lee Anthony both molested her; are morally egregious and unethical. I believe that the false accusations of rape or child molestation are worse than those crimes themselves. So many of my colleagues are rightfully saying that we owe Casey the presumption of innocence. Well what about George and Lee Anthony's presumption of innocence?

Secondly, defense attorney Jose Baez ought to be disciplined and sanctioned for his many claims that have already been proven to be false. When I find a comprehensive article out there regarding the unethical actions of attorney José Baez, I will be linking it here. If my readers find a good one, please submit it as a comment below.

One would hope and pray that Casey's character would change from this, but I’m not anticipating it. Casey needs to voluntarily get her fallopian tubes tied (or stop fornicating.)

Let’s hope that they do not re-open the murder case, hence following after Casey’s trail of lies. LEAVE GEORGE ALONE and prosecute the enabling-acquiescing-tolerating Cindy Anthony for perjury.

Too bad Caylee’s father wasn’t still alive. He may have a sure win wrongful death law suit against Casey. The laws in civil court are MUCH different than criminal. Tantamount to the OJ Simpson trial. He was acquitted in criminal trial, but in the civil trial he was found guilty of the murders.

Perhaps George Anthony should file the wrongful death suit against Casey. He wouldn’t be collecting any dollars from his shoddy white trash daughter soon. But he would off of her book deals, motion picture deals, interviews and any special appearances that she makes. Either way, as I said in my 2008 blog post re OJ Simpson; in the end God will sort it out with Casey.

Matthew Bartlett decided to flip the bird at Assistant DA Jeff Ashton, as Ashton was prosecuting this case. This gesture was captured on video.

This is not the courtroom you want to joke around in. The honorable Judge Belvin Perry commands a well disciplined atmosphere. Judge Perry found Bartlett guilty of criminal contempt. I admit that I incorrectly prejudged this young man. Bartlett holds a job and lives on his own. Not too many his age can say that.

Mr. Bartlett is now the most famous TGIF server. I suspect there will now be a lot of young women eating at this TGIF.

My libertarian friends will disagree with me, but I believe this was necessary. Had Bartlett been seen by on juror, and had they been influenced in any way, there may have been a mistrial. A judge should display zero tolerance for misconduct in a high profile death penalty murder trial.

Watch Bartlett squirm and stutter as judge Perry finds him guilty, sentences him into County jail, fines him and then as the deputy slips on those stainless steel bracelets.

When I was a Cop

Going back to my days as a police officer, I now regretfully admit how I literally despised criminal defense attorneys and/or their investigators. The mind set of law enforcement was not very favorable of those practicing criminal defense. Although some defense lawyers have earned the right to be called scumbags.

I was trained and programmed to be a Cop, and to just make a solid case for the victim. As a matter of fact, I have been admonished by some LAPD Supervisors for imputing information into police reports that challenged the credibility of the victims and/or prosecution witnesses in those reports.

Following are just a few of many examples.

Domestic Violence:

In one domestic violence incident, I put in my 'additional' heading of the report that the victim had given me inconsistent statements. The Supervisor approving my report, told me to remove that from the report.

Too many police officers believe that if she was the one that called, and she has the red mark on her; then he must be the criminal (this can be read as gender natural.)

The Rich & Famous Can Alter Ones' Judgement:

I remember another case, when I arrested the amazingly attractive wife (CG) of a famous Major League baseball player (SG); many officers asked me to let her go. I did not.

Or a well known Actor (ER.) His sister, a famous Actress (JR,) asked me to not arrest him. I still did. The human being tends to give more credibility to a woman that is gorgeous, or a man that is famous. Discrimination can work for or against a victim or a suspect.

I have learnt thru many years that I would become an equal opportunity deployer. That I would spend just as much time finding witnesses to refute the alleged victims account; as I would locating witnesses that would sustain their story. Not matter how pretty she, or famous he is.

The Professional Call Girl:

Another radio call I handled, a woman claimed she was forced to orally copulate a suspect. However I had previous knowledge that this woman may have been engaged in illegal activities herself. She had no arrest record 'yet.' But I had previous knowledge that she may have been a high class call girl (a prostitute.) No one would know it by her appearance, she was unblemished in appearance. In this case the alleged suspect (a John,) had stiffed her for the money they agreed on for a blow-job.

When he refused to pay up the agreed amount, she called the police and reported that he 'forced her' to orally copulate him. In an 'additional' heading of that police report, I inputted my suspicions of her. Again this supervisor also told me to remove that paragraph from my police report. He advised "Our loyalty is to the DA's office!" However he did suggest that I put that info on a "post-it note," and adhere it to the police report, so that the detectives may know about this. In my own pathetic naivety, I believed that.

I didn't lie in my reports. But I was told to omit information that could discredit an alleged victim, or prosecution witness. My wife once told me, "Bill you're such a Cop, if you bled, you'd bleed blue." Maybe I was too much.

Now as a Private Investigator

After leaving law enforcement and becoming a private investigator, I was concerned about money. I hesitantly took on my first case for a criminal defense attorney (Yuk.) I held my nose, as I took that file and walked out of that defense attorney's office.

But after reading all discovery, writing discrepancy reports, re- interviewing all police witnesses, finding new witnesses, recovering evidence etc; that case literally changed my life. It made me realize how bias and non objective I was as a Cop. I would later confess this in a foreword I was asked to write for a book.

Three years later now, I have completed hundreds of comprehensive criminal defense cases. From the start, to a dismissal, a plea bargain, or a jury verdict.

Oh how I have learned this. Regarding what my previous LAPD Supervisor said, Bill "Our loyalty is to the DA's office!" Oh no it's not. Our loyalty should be to the truth... period. Many of my former police colleagues have now referred to me as

A turn coat
Gone to the 'dark side'
A defense whore,
Your on ‘their side’
Etcetera

However as per the 5th amendment of our United States Constitution, everyone accused of a crime, has the right to a good defense and a fair trial. Even if we don't agree with the crime our client is alleged of committing.

From one extreme to another:
As I stated before that most of my former law enforcement colleagues were just like me. They despised defenders. However I have also learned that there are many defense attorneys and private investigators who think the same of law enforcement and prosecutors.

I believe these biased perceptions and beliefs from either side are wrong. I have come to know this more now than ever. Our fairness and objectivity means everything. As I currently conduct my investigations, I know there are still many good cops and many good DA's out there. I also know there are also many good defense attorneys and good private investigators as well.

But those who share views from one extreme to the other, lose their credibility. I choose to remain impartial.

The 32 year old cold case:
In 2004, I was hired to work a 32 year old homicide cold case. The Police Dept years ago had closed the case as 'unsolved.' After I interviewed witnesses from two different states, my investigation began to point at one person. I also confronted him in an interrogation.

However when the [blank] Police Dept found out I was working their cold case, they ordered me to stop. Their homicide detective even called my client and told her, "I'm highly offended that you hired a private investigator." He then told her, "He's a "wannabe cop." He even followed up with me by leaving a voicemail at my office, to "stop" the investigation.

But as one renowned private investigator said. Bill "the more hostile and defensive a response to criticism of law enforcement, et al., occurs, then the more the public should worry as to whose interests are being served." He added, "But when they admit their wrong. This is how professionals comport themselves in the face of error."

Incidentally I only stopped the investigation because the client stopped further payments.

My client the Murderer:I was hired by another defense attorney to do an investigation on behalf of our client, who was facing a trial for murder. After completing the exhaustive investigation, I had enough evidence to not only prove my client’s innocence, but my evidence pointed at the correct two suspects.

Ordinarily I am never to give my constitutionally protected investigative work product to the police detectives and/or the District Attorney. That is always only given to the attorney I work for, as "attorney client privileged" work product. However in this rare case, the defense attorney asked me to meet with the homicide detective. That was after I told my attorney that I have known this Fontana Police homicide detective for well over a decade.

I then met with the homicide detective, gave him copies of my entire investigation, and told him who I suspect the real murder suspect is. He was not very receptive. Mind you my client was still in custody, and his sweetie just had their first child while he was in custody.

The following day, I received an email from the defense attorney on this matter. This email was first written by that homicide detective to the District Attorney who was assigned to prosecute my client. The DA then forwarded it to the defense attorney.

Following is that email, "Seems that the defense investigator is trying to make everyone doubt themselves or change their stories. I think this is making them unwilling to testify. Reference both of our eyewitnesses on tape they are positive on [name snipped], and I covered if they actually saw him do the shooting to which they replied yes. So that is on tape."

Isn't it interesting that when you find the truth which contradicts the homicide detective, your integrity is then put into question?

The good news is once my client was released, the DA on this case later commended me. She also stated "Bill my primary job is not to prosecute. It is to uphold justice and to seek the truth. Then to only prosecute with solid facts."

She further admitted that the police investigation was "a botched investigation." That is a great district attorney.

It's one thing to arrest a bad guy. After all, anyone can place handcuffs on a suspect. But it's more challenging and even more rewarding, as an advocate to walk the accused through an exhaustive criminal defense case, from start to finish.

Often times via the biased media we hear about alleged police corruption. But what seems to be often over looked is the corruption within the other parts of the judicial system.

The Rapist:My client was in custody for rape and also attempt murder. However my investigation and a good attorney were able to prove to the jury that my client was innocent. My client happened to be a very handsome black man, and the alleged victim did not want to let him go. She was a fatal attraction. Who later inflicted the wounds on herself.

But I believe a jury trial would have been prevented, had the DA allowed me access to interview the alleged victim. That part of my investigation was delayed and delayed, and then stopped with one phone call.

The child molester:My client (a Pastor) who adamantly claimed his innocence was accused of molesting a little girl. 10 years later the girl decided to report it. My investigation was intense and exhaustive to say the least. I never thought I’d ever work a case were I would be taking close up photos of a Pastors genitalia. Later while in a pretrial hearing the DA on record, told the judge that I was "harassing" her victim and witnesses. The judge didn't buy that. The jury didn't either. He was acquitted on that charge.

But till this day it baffles me how at times the DA's office or a DA, can become so politically and emotionally involved in their cases, that they don't want all the facts. Or perhaps it becomes more like a sport when they can't lose. This is not a game!

Not only did this DA lie here, she also withheld evidence that was exculpatory. Here’s some case law on this type of prosecutorial misconduct.

"Whether or not the prosecution has directly gained any confidential information which may be subject to suppression, the prosecution has been aided by its agent conduct. Petitioners may have been prejudiced in their ability to prepare their defense. They no longer feel they can freely, candidly, and without complete confidence discuss their case with their attorney." Barber v. Municipal Court (1979) 24 Cal. 3d. 742, 756.

"When the conduct of the part of the authorities is so outrageous as to interfere with an accuser's right of due process of law, proceedings against the accused are therefore rendered improper." Boulas v. Superior Court (1986) 188 Cal.App.3d. 422,429.)

I so much admire the other DA on my murder case. She wasn't trying to 'win,' she was seeking justice. As she stated, "my primary job is not to prosecute. It is to uphold justice and to seek the truth. Then to only prosecute with solid facts."

The F.B.I. and my client

My client was a well known TV personality. Unfortunately two boys in cahoots with each other decided to make allegations that my client molested them. Its amazing how many within law enforcement will simply believe a Childs allegation over the accused; even when there’s no evidence to support their allegations. Sadly this happens too often in America.

The United States Attorneys office later decided to prosecute my client. I felt like I was David going against Goliath (the United States Government.) The Government has volumes of unlimited resources and money. My investigation turned into a multi-State investigation, and all I had was a slingshot.

I later ended up testifying at the jury trial. Thankfully this jury believed the facts presented by the defense, and not the mendacity of the FBI and the U.S. Attorneys office.

One experience I will comment on was how the FBI spent so much time throughout their investigation, nefariously assassinating the character of my client. Every time they contacted a witness, a friend, former colleague or former neighbor to get statements; they subjectively indoctrinated those potential witnesses.

My client’s trial for an attempt murder in Yucaipa:

My client was arrested for attempt murder. There was plenty of evidence to show that it was purely self-defense. However the DA in this case would not drop the charges. My client now faced a jury trial for attempt murder, plus two other felony charges.

After an intense investigation and a two week jury trial. The jury found my client “not guilty,” on all three counts. But it should have never gone this far. I'm not sure this was a case of prosecutorial misconduct. But I do I believe the lead police detective, who failed to do a complete investigation, misled the DA.

And even worse, the DA’s own investigator; whom intentionally withheld evidence, which would have been helpful to our client. After reading all the written statements he wrote, one would think that DA had a fairly strong case.

However once I was finally able to get all the cassettes tapes of these recorded interviews. I found serious discrepancies. I compared the audiotapes, to what the DA investigator actually wrote in his reports. I discovered the following.

Omitted statements by witnesses, which alleges the victim was the aggressor
A consistent pattern of information omitted from the written reports, said by witnesses. This would have shown our client to be more of a victim, rather than the suspect.
Omitted statements by a key prosecution witness, which showed he was the first one who committed a felony that night. The other was another prosecution witness.
Comments that the key prosecution witness, in fact provoked the whole incident.
Asking leading questions by putting words in the witnesses’ mouth, and then asking them if they agreed with it.

I’m not talking about omitting non-relevant details, like the beginning of an interview where you’re establishing a rapport, or talking shop. I’m talking about omitting details that proves our client did act in self-defense.

I sat in the whole trial at the council table, with the defense attorney and the client, as the DA and his police detective sat on the other side. I was perplexed why this went to trial. Had the verdict been guilty, he would have spent "life in prison."

The only witnesses that were consistent, and/or that did not get caught lying, were the defense witnesses. And of course the DA told the jurors that the defense witnesses were all "coached because they were too consistent."

But in closing, the defense attorney told them, "When you tell the truth, you don't have to remember what to say." The only coaching our defense gave the witnesses was “just tell the truth.”

However on the contrary, the jurors heard that homicide detectives tape recorded interview of another. It was obvious his witness was either coached and/or led on. In cross examination, that police detective admitted, that sometimes “you need to lead witnesses on, to get a statement.”

After the trial the defense was able to speak to the jurors. The following was observed ~

One told my client “you were the victim here.”
Another commented on how the police failed to conduct a thorough investigation
One of the jurors was a retired police officer.

Hard work? Yes, allot of blood, sweat, tears and prayers. But as one PI told me, “Bill you and the defense attorney, kept an innocent man from the jaws of prison.”

The Nipple Caper:
As a private investigation attempts to balance the scales of justice, they may also experience ethical dilemmas with their own defense attorney that hired them.

My client was facing charges for child molestation. Long story short, his daughters’ 12 year old girl friend came over to spend the night. My client tickled his own daughters back, as he has before. However where he really lacked wisdom, was he also tickled the back of her 12 year old girlfriend. Then the allegations of molestation came forth.

The attorney that hired me asked me to travel afar to interview this 12 year old alleged victim. At 2:30PM, I arrived unannounced at her door. The 12 year old answered the door. I identified myself and asked her for one of her parents, to obtain their permission for her interview. She advised that she was home alone. She was kind enough to invite me inside to do the interview without her parents consent. However I declined. I gave her my card advising her I will be staying in town, and for her parents to call my cell.

While enroute to my hotel, I called the attorney to inform him she was home, and that I did not conduct the interview; since I had not yet received her parent’s knowledge and/or consent. To my surprise this attorney was very angry with me. He yelled something similar to “my client is facing 25 years, and you had an opportunity to interview this willing victim, and you didn’t?”

I advised him it would be very unethical and unwise to do so. I advised him that

I would have been home alone with a 12 year old girl, who has already made one allegation of molestation (allegedly.)

If she truly was a victim, I did not want to be accused of maliciously causing her more traumas, while we were alone. Even knowing it would have been tape recorded, I could have later been accused of manipulating her before activating the recorder.

Informing and allowing a parent to be present is the right thing to do. I advised the attorney that “no attorney or client is worth losing my freedom over.” The attorney then yelled “Don’t let your ethics get in your way!”

However it all worked out for the better. Because her mother did call me that night, and she scheduled the appointment with me and her daughter.

The following morning I went back to her home. Once the tape recorder was on, I asked the alleged victim to tell me the whole story. There were serious problems when comparing her statements to the police report. I then asked her to repeat several areas of her statement, and to ‘Tell Me More About That’ (my TMMAT format.)

I then asked her if she or her mother ever read the police report. They both advised “no.” I then read to her a portion of the report which stated my client not only touched her breasts under her clothing, but even “touched my nipples.” Her mother interrupted the interview. To be frank I thought she was angry with me, and was going to ask me to leave. However her mother was angry with the police officers report. She stated, “I was with my daughter when the police interviewed her. And my daughter never used the word ‘nipple.”

Later it was corroborated with other evidence, that the alleged victim never even alleged that my client touched her breasts. More specifically that he tickled her to the point of playing with her “nipples.”

My client was immediately released from custody, and the charges were dropped.

The moral of the story? Do allow your ‘ethics' to get in your way.’ It’s a good thing. I also recommend applying the my 50/50 Rule of investigations.

You see this only came to fruition because the mother was present at the interview. The mother’s ‘angry and surprised voice’ on the audio, became our best independent witness. Having her mother present also prevented me from later being falsely accused of forcing a victim to change her story. Or worse….

As I’ve said before, ‘Were professionals not fiscal prostitutes. The prostitute is paid to do the tricks.”

[ Here an investigator was arrested for allegedly doing exactly what this aforementioned defense attorney would want a PI to do for him. ]

Conclusion:

Our justice system is the best in this world, but it has problems and corruption on both sides of lady liberty (both the prosecution and the defense.) However regarding Private Investigators that do criminal defense investigations; as the President of the ‘Criminal Defense Investigators Training Council’ Brandon A. Perron said; we are to be “impartial advocates of the truth.”

As I watch the current Casey Anthony murder trial in Florida, where she’s accused of killing her two-year old daughter Caylee, I must comment on the following. As a National Board Certified Defense Investigator myself, I do believe in the Blackstonian view, “it is better to let nine guilty men free. Than allow one innocent man to suffer.” However I am appalled with her defense attorney Jose Baez.. (Update 07-05-11: On Casey Anthony trial here.)

[I am pro-police and I support crime suppression, hence going after criminals. I also know that as a Christian, it is Biblical to respect authority. However not when it is so unreasonable and contrary to Scripture.]

With that headline one would think this was a joke, or a story from some communist Country.

Sadly this happened in America. A week ago I only shared the below video (as a hard copy) with others via my email list. However now that the law firm has made it public via their own YouTube channel, I will blog this story and now make limited comments regarding this case.

A synopsis of this story:
On Feb 2nd, 2011 Calvary Chapel Pastor Brett Coronado was doing what is known as ‘evangelizing. ’ They did so on the outer perimeter of the DMV office located in Hemet, Calif. Accompanying Pastor Coronado were Elders Edmond “Ed” Flores and Mark A. Mackey.

Someone called the police. However because the DMV is State owned property (owned by the taxpayers I might add,) California Highway Patrol Officer Damen Meyer arrives. Sadly the below video depicts the rest of this un-American and egregious application of ‘justice.’

According to the below Federal document (linked below,) these Christians were later handcuffed to a metal pole for 90 minutes. This is what happens when a traffic cop shows up to do an alleged criminal investigation.

Note: I did not do an actual investigation of this incident, nor for this HC news story. However I did do some unofficial inquiries. I am told that there was ‘allegedly’ another CHP officer at this horrific crime scene. If so, his name was Layne [last name I’ve snipped.] I will refrain from further comments regarding him.

The good news of the Good News (the gospel,) is that the law firm ‘Advocates for Faith and Freedom’ just filed a Federal lawsuit in the U.S Courts defending these Christians; hence naming CHP officer Damen Meyer as the defendant. Here is that lawsuit recently filed in the U.S Federal Court.

I will always defend the Constitutional freedoms of all legitimate Americans. Moreover there are three specific symbols that I will 'personally' defend, fight for, and if necessary even die for. They are the Star of David, the Cross of Christ, and the flag of the United States of America.

This weekend I watched the newly released motion picture called “The Lincoln Lawyer.”

Actor Matthew McConaughey plays the role of a Los Angeles defense attorney. His Private Investigator (PI) is played by Actor William H. Macy.

Many criminal trial lawyers have one thing in common. That is their Private Investigators often do much of the work ‘behind the scenes,’ in preparation for trial. This movie depicts some of the roles of the PI.

While this movie is not based on an actual court case, it has a lot of reality to it. The relationships between the attorney and the Private Investigator can at times be very complex.

In this movie, the defense attorney is too emotionally attached to the case; hence he loses focus. However his Private Investigator does not. His PI even warns him of the dangerous facts.

Another commonality that I see in this movie with real life criminal cases, is that oftentimes the clients’ mothers’ desires to be involved. They at times seem to enable, coddle or acquiesce to their sons’ alleged wrong doings. It is my personal policy to not allow mothers of clients to interfere, nor in anyway be involved in my investigations.

This movie is bitter-sweet. Sweet, because true justice prevails in the end. Bitter because one of the two aforementioned men die. It is in fact a great movie. Below are two movie trailers.

When I woke up this morning the first thing I did was turn on my TV to watch the news. I then learn that America is now at war with yet another Country. Yes we’re bombing Libya.

Call it a war, or call it just a conflict. Either way, I am adamantly opposed to it. it is Constitutionally wrong.

Has Barack Hussein Obama even gone before Congress to obtain their approval? No he has not. Instead he has acquiesced with an organization that hates America and Israel, known as the United Nations (aka the UN or the UN-American UN.)

Our U.S. Congress is set up to act tantamount as a Board of Directors for this Nation. However Obama bypassed our own Board/Congress and submitted to the UN instead.

What are we doing for God’s sakes? Do we have any right to complain in the future when America is bombed and attacked by Iran or China? Or how would Obama like it if a foreign Country invaded us without provocation, and attempted to assassinate him?

Many screamed when George W. Bush went to war in 'defense' of this Nation. Now the same are praising Obama for going on the 'offensive' without provocation and only because of Libya’s policies.

Here’s Obama’s own words when he hypocritically criticized Bush. “The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.”— Senator Barack Hussein Obama, Dec 20th, 2007

I support our Military, but we need to pray for our Nations leadership. That our leaders will do the right thing, and not things for political expediency. Either way, yes God is in control. There is a chance this war/conflict may be bringing us just one step closer to the catastrophic and prophetic war, that I mentioned in my below article.

Update: 03-25-11: The NRA has asked Congress to conduct an investigation and hearing into this matter. Evidently our current anti-gun administration staged the whole thing, to give an elusion of a gun problem that does not exist. It may have been our own Agents buying, transporting and giving these guns to the Mexican drug cartel, in hopes there would be casualties. Henceforth creating a problem to justify more anti-gun legislation.

HESPERIA • Authorities located missing Hesperia teen Jessie Bender early Wednesday morning safe in Apple Valley, and investigators said she may have run away to avoid an arranged marriage in Pakistan.

The 13-year-old Cedar Middle School student and her siblings were removed from the Bender family home Wednesday, Cindy Bachman, spokeswoman for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, said.

“(A) family member was concealing her in Apple Valley because he was concerned that she would be taken to Pakistan and forced into an arranged marriage,” Bachman said.
